Braga Fresh Named 2015 Industry Role Model by Produce for Better Health Foundation

Braga Fresh Family Farms has been named a 2015 role model for their commitment to promoting the mission of the Fruits & Veggies—More Matters® campaign, an initiative of the Produce for Better Health Foundation (PBH) focused on helping Americans increase fruit and vegetable consumption for better health.

“Through our consumer and trade marketing tactics for Josie’s Organics, including print and online advertising, social media, PR, recipes, sponsorships and speaking engagements, our messaging and content consistently promotes eating more vegetables,” said Karen Nardozza who handles marketing for Braga Fresh. “Everything about the Josie’s Organics brand has been designed to make buying and eating fresh vegetables easier and more fun. Supporting the Fruit & Veggies—More Matters campaign has been a natural fit for us and we’re honored to be recognized as a role model.”

Braga Fresh was chosen as a role model honoree based on criteria such as featuring the Fruits & Veggies—More Matters® logo on Josie’s Organics packaging, promoting the website and linking to it,  participating in Fruits & Veggies—More Matters Twitter parties, and posting about the campaign on the Josie’s Organics Facebook and Twitter accounts.

“I’m pleased to recognize the organizations from the fruit and vegetable industry for their respective efforts to increase the familiarity of the Fruits & Veggies—More Matters national health campaign, brand messages, and logo with consumers, specifically with moms and their children,” said Elizabeth Pivonka, president and CEO of PBH.
