At Braga Fresh, we have made traceability a top priority. Tracking our fresh produce through all stages of the supply chain – production, processing & distribution are important to ensure food safety and operational efficiency.

GPS Ranch & Harvest Location

In addition to the ranch location, we are now capturing what part of the field was harvested by GPS coordinates for additional traceback data.

Braga Fresh deploys the following capabilities to support fresh produce traceability:

All our products are set up using GS1 standards.

We are using 1WordSync to manage product content including Ecom imagery and product specifications.

As of 2020, we have full capability to use Blockchain for transparency and traceability, using IBM Food Trust.

We offer EDI integration through ITrade for our program partners.
